Purpose of Position:
Support the operation to deliver Superior Guest Service by coordinating Human Resources activities to ensure compliance with company programs and applicable laws. Coordinate and maintain recruiting and staffing plans, onboarding, orientation, training and other Human Resources programs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates human resources activities to ensure compliance with company programs and applicable laws. Works with operations management to meet needs of business plan.
3. Administers, coordinate and support recruiting activities and interviewing process. Places ads; maintains internal application process. Reviews applicants for and makes recommendations to managers.
4. Administer new employee onboarding process including confirmation of required background checks, orientation session, prepare and setup of employee files, completion of required forms, etc.
5. Plans and conducts New Hire Orientation. Works with operations management to confirm assignment of new employees.
6. Maintains and files all employment records, ensures compliance with I-9 documents.
7. Coordinates the badging process in compliance with airport requirements for new hires, renewals, terminations and escorting.
8. Enters new hire data, employment changes, payroll deductions, terminations and other related information into HR System.
9. Assists with workman’s compensation claims, unemployment claims, employee relations investigations and inquiries.
10. Communicates with payroll function; provides necessary information; and resolves problems.
11. Coordinates and maintains employee transportation programs, assists and/or prepares employee communication materials.
12. Tracks and maintains employee training records and requirements for location and assist with completion of monthly and quarterly reports.
13. Coordinates and maintains reward, recognition, safety and related programs.
14. Support open enrollment process and updates benefit materials, as needed.
15. Processes employment verifications and inquires as needed.
16. Performs customer service functions by answering general employee requests and questions.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in the field; or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
