    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the next phase of company growth through our people. This includes the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all the Human Resources (HR) functions to achieve company objectives. This position embodies the values of the organization; possesses functional expertise; expresses one’s viewpoint with courage and candor and operates with transparency, mutual accountability, and trust.

    This position reports directly to the President.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
    • Plans, leads, and develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource strategy and compliance needs.
    • Administers or oversees human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; timekeeping; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and culture/morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
    • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS). Uses the metrics to drive improvement and efficiencies for the organization.
    • Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
    • Effectively communicates with employees at all levels and operates with a hands-on approach as needed.
    • Acts as champion for company culture, including but not limited to coordinating celebration events, and administering employee surveys along with follow up actions.
    • Develops and manages departmental budget.
    • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for staff.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Education and Experience:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required; a master’s degree preferred.
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of human resource management experience required and at least two years of supervisory experience is required.
    • Certification as a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
    • Prior work experience in Warehouse/ E-commerce industry is a plus.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
