International Lending Manager manages and directs all activities regarding a financial institution's international loan operations for a region. Ensures compliance with established international policies, standards, and reporting requirements. Being an International Lending Manager develops and implements processes and procedures to deliver the most efficient international lending operations. Evaluates changes or new developments in the region that could impact operations and develops alternative solutions as needed. Additionally, International Lending Manager requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The International Lending Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Summary: Provides a variety of duties related to the operation of the Strategic Lending Department as needed, compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Performs AVS (Account Verification Services) function for Strategic Lending Department.
Operates working capital program, separate from regular bank system.
Receives and analyzes funding files, processes appropriate accounting entries associated with fundings
Processes payments received in lockbox, processes appropriate accounting entries associated with payments
Daily balancing of loan accounts in Strategic Lending software and Bank operated system
Processes corrections and entries, including debit and credit memos along with any research required
Insurance Analysis, Research and Calculations
Monthly invoice verifications on qualifying accounts
Processing repurchases of over qualifying invoices.
Performs analysis of reserve accounts, dilution trends and lockbox trends
Direct contact and assistance with customers and loan officers on status of Strategic Lending credits
Document preparation for new incoming credits and adjustments to existing lines
Other duties as directed.
Cross trained on all area functions to serve as a backup to these duties when necessary.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Banking experience is preferred.
Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office software.
