    Scope and Purpose:

    We are seeking a Junior International Marketing Associate to join our growing International team at our Corporate Houston office. Our Junior International Marketing Associate will provide assistance to external producers through the timely processing of marketing materials, contracting, systems and commission assistance, and other ad hoc requests. This role will be responsible in monitoring incoming mail and requests and provide assistance to and back up the International Marketing Manager on the team.

    This role is in office at our Houston location.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Answer producer requests and concerns on contracting, systems, and other ad hoc issues.
    • Process appointments and contracting for new Producers.
    • Assist with commission distribution to the Producers.
    • Calculate hypothetical product illustrations and provide input on results.
    • Assist the company and Producers with promotional campaigns which include distribution of marketing material and email blasts.
    • Assists Producers with the company website to include initial setup, password changes/corrections, Illustrations, location of marketing materials and/or supplies and guidance on required training courses.
    • Backup the International Marketing Manager on product or system presentations to existing or prospective agents.
    • Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external agents and clients.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in International Business, Marketing, or in a related field; insurance industry knowledge preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • 1-3 years of insurance or marketing experience.
    • Bilingual, fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    • Computer literate; demonstrates proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
    • Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
    • Ability to multi-task and high accuracy is expected.

    Travel Requirements:
    This position may require 5-10% travel as needed.
