ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist Commercial Lines Marketing Manager and Representative(s) with compiling and processing of insurance coverage application and renewal documents.

2. Input and update new and existing client information within the Company’s systems for tracking and maintenance of internal client files.

3. Coordinate with Marketing Manager and Representative(s) to prepare spreadsheets, quotes, cover letters, proposals, presentations, etc.

4. Provide other necessary administrative support to Marketing Team and Producers.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience in an administrative role in an office setting, preferably in an insurance company environment.

2. Ability to prioritize time sensitive assignments from Marketing Team members and Producers in a fast paced work environment.

3. Advanced computer skills, including proficiencies in typing and use of Microsoft Office Suite products.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Highly organized multi-tasker with critical attention to details.

6. Willingness to take direction and adapt to dynamic processes and protocols with a cooperative attitude.

7. Self-motivated and resourceful problem-solver who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

EDUCATION, LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

2. Presently hold a valid Property and Casualty insurance license in compliance with Louisiana continuing education requirements, or willingness to obtain this license within three (3) months of date of hire.

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
