The position calls for an individual who thrives in an operational environment, while also able to work to develop an overall drayage and information system strategy across FBIN.This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (in office Tues, Wed, Thurs) at one of our offices in North Olmsted (OH), Maumee (OH), Oak Creek (WI), Deerfield (IL), New Bern (NC) or Kinston (NC).Responsibilties: Build, nurture, and grow existing carrier and distribution center relationships.Work cross-functionally to manage various delivery/service expectations across the organization.Manage external information systems integration with SAP and TMS.Provide weekly/monthly updates to various levels of the organization for key metric attainment.Identify opportunities for service and cost improvements across FBINDevelop deep understanding of FBIN internal/external customer needs and develop carrier capacity and cost strategy for alignment.Provide creative solutions for complex transportation situations as they arise.Be initial Point of Contact for Drayage operations at FBIN.Will be working in Mercury Gate, InforNexus, and SAPQualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years' experience in logistics operations, specifically in drayage/transload operation services.Drayage carrier management experience preferred.Experience with RFP bids.
