We are a 3M Preferred Converter, and specialized in designing, fabricating and distributing a wide variety of custom adhesive and die-cut solutions for over 35 years! Through a wide variety of converting technologies, we offer a diversity of products, ranging from simple die cut tapes, seals and gaskets, to fully-assembled sub-components. We utilize over 250 different raw materials, used for Attachment, Buzz, Squeak & Rattle / NVH, EMI Shielding, Fastening, Gasketing & Sealing, Labeling, Printing & Identification, Masking, Safety, Surface Protection, and Wind Noise / Sound Dampening.

What we need:

We are looking for a qualified Customer Quality Representative - Key Customers to join our team a be a driving force in the company's pursuit of excellence and growth. The position will perform a broad range of tasks supporting our expanding customer base. This position will support the customer returns process, monitor measurables to ensure effectiveness and customer satisfaction, and adhere to customer requirements. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the point of contact for customer quality concerns (Including, but not limited to, completing PPAP's, working on quality rejections and supporting the growth of the customer from a quality point of view)
• Provide timely written and verbal feedback to customers on quality concerns
• Keep detailed records of all customer communications and quality responses
• Manage containment and sorting as well as keeping detailed records of the associated costs
• Oversees/Manages nonconforming product processes by investigating root causes, conducting risk analyses, following up with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and closure of nonconforming product reports
• Work cross-functionally within Argent to develop strong countermeasures to quality issues; Implement corrective actions and prove effectiveness
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service
• Manage the QA Hold Cage to ensure timely disposition of suspect and non-conforming product, working with other department members for resolution and removal of parts.
• Completion of customer self-assessments, MMOG, etc. from key customer base
• Internal auditor for internal processes per annual calendar
• Other special duties as needed by the department

What you’ll need:

• Strong knowledge of the customer quality return process
• Customer relationship management experience preferred
• IATF16949/ISO 9001 experience preferred
• 3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering role strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Problem solving, 8D Analysis, correction actions, audits, core tools experience required
• Bachelor Degree required (technical degree preferred)
