International Trade Specialist jobs in Charleston, SC

International Trade Specialist is responsible for coordinating credit and financial activities and obtaining payments for import/export operations. Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. There is a potential to transition to a FT opportunity that you will attend our tradeshows across the United States and into Canada. We will pay for your travel expenses. BUT we are looking primarily to assist with this event.
    • Receive training in our products, massage therapy devices. We will ensure you receive the best training to help you succeed. Providing you with the product knowledge you’ll need to accurately share our products to our clients.

    What We Expect of Our Sales Rep:

    • You love people, can make quick connections to develop rapport.
    • Ask clarifying questions if needed.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Self-motivated and driven to do a good job.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., active on your feet all day and set up and take down the trade show displays.

    About Our Ideal Inside Sales Rep:

    • Experienced: 2-3 years of inside sales, cold-calling, door-to-door sales, or customer service. Willing to train in industry knowledge. plus. Experience with health and wellness products is a plus!
    • Accurate: Detailed. Correctly enters the invoicing and sale into our software and ensures the quote is accurate.
    • Computer Savvy: Able to learn new software and navigate a computer confidently.
    • Clear Communicator: Must communicate clearly and concisely while still building relationships and trust.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to set up and take down the Tradeshow Display, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    What we offer our Tradeshow Sales Rep:

    • $35-45 p/h DOE plus bonus potential. Option to go full commission in the future.
