International Trade Specialist is responsible for coordinating credit and financial activities and obtaining payments for import/export operations. Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The International Operations Specialist is responsible for providing on-going support to the International Department in processing and servicing Trade Finance and Lines of Credit. Prepare and review loan applications and line requests. Work independently with third party vendors and borrowers. Work on multiple projects simultaneously; managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes. Adaptable in a team-oriented environment with minimum supervision.

• Generate Proof Daily Transaction Journal, New Loan reports from Director
• Daily Keyboard input and book on Precision
• SWIFT Input

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the lending functions.
• Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
• Good knowledge of international trade finance operations and documentation, regulatory requirements, laws and regulations.
• Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
