Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact to create and evaluate all controlled documents. This position completes all documentation services for quality systems, including change control, technical writing, maintenance of records, and compliance with GMP documentation practices.
Create, update, review, edit, and file company's SOPs, work instructions, master forms, templates, etc.
Organize and maintain the most current version of SOPs, work instructions, master forms, templates, etc.
Create, update, review, edit, and file job descriptions as assigned
Create, update, review, and edit training documents as assigned
Maintain and update other controlled documents as assigned
Route documents and change control forms for approval
Trains document users on document control practices
Collaborate with various departments to identify discrepancies in current practices and provide solutions accordingly
Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper training and implementation, and evaluate continuous improvements
Support the QA Manager by taking meeting notes and coordinating meetings as assigned
Perform temporary assignments as needed
Job Qualifications:
Associates or BA/BS degree in science (preferred)
Must have 5-7 years quality assurance experience in a regulated environment e.g., dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, foods.
Must be familiar with 21 CFR 110,117,111, FSMA, cGMP, ISO 22716, NHP, TGA regulations
Must be extremely detail oriented and have excellent technical writing skills.
Must be able to work and communicate well with others especially when editing or revising their written documents.
Must be willing to perform repetitious tasks such as updating forms, filing logs, copying, and scanning documents.
Possess excellent computer (MS office: word; excel; access; outlook) writing and editing skills.
Must be willing and able to spend 6-8 hours per day standing and filing and/or sitting and performing computer-based tasks such as: scanning, logging, and editing.
