Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Strider is looking for someone to provide support and assist in coordination of the company’s business development functions, project updating, sales reporting, and data entry. This role will work directly with the business development and product departments to aid in the sales and reporting tasks for various sub companies as well as communicate with business partners regarding results in their territories. The ideal candidate will need to display proficiency with computers, and the confidence and ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position. Candidates must be organized, driven, attentive to detail, have great communication skills (especially on the phone and via email), be comfortable using translation systems when necessary and be prepared to help make large contributions to the company’s ever-changing landscape.
