Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol. Being an Interventional Radiological Technologist observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Typically requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Interventional Radiological Technologist typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Interventional Radiological Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Position Summary:
The Nuclear Technologist is part of our Diagnostics team. This position enables the facilitation of positive patient outcomes by performing all aspects of nuclear medicine including radiopharmaceutical injection, study acquisition and processing. Equipment used includes: Gamma Cameras, PET Scanner, RB82 Infusion Cart, Computers, Well Counter/Scalers, Survey Meters, Dose Calibrators, Stress Testing Equipment, Syringe Pumps, EKG Machines, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, Holter Scanning Equipment, Oxygen Equipment, Pulseoximeter, Glucometer, Defibrillator, and Office Equipment.
