Interventional Radiological Technologist assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol. Being an Interventional Radiological Technologist observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Typically requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Interventional Radiological Technologist typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. We are seeking a dedicated and capable Interventional Pain Management Radiologic Technologist to streamline our patient experience by supporting our Pain Anesthesiologists, and will travel to local GCBS offices.
Our Interventional Pain Management Radiologic Technologist’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to) obtaining all equipment needed for a procedure, positioning and imaging patients, resolving equipment issues, and demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy, radiation safety, interventional supplies, and equipment operations. This role may have some travel included to our other office locations.
