What we do: ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to McLaren Greater Lansing. McLaren has partnered with Michigan State University to open a state of the art new tertiary teaching facility with 240 acute care beds, located on the southern edge of the Michigan State University campus. Among its services are a Level III Trauma Center/Emergency Department, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, comprehensive cardiac programs, medical/surgical units, and state-of-the-art women and children’s health services including a modern birthing center.  Karmanos Cancer Institute and Outpatient Care Center is also on campus. 

What we are looking for: We are seeking a full time Lansing based Interventional Radiologist to work with another full time IR physician and support this expansion.  The position will work in Lansing primarily but have occasional off site coverage at Memorial Health Owosso. This is a partnership track position. Our standard schedule includes 39 weeks and 11 weekends with limited call. There are also alternate track schedule options such as weekday only. 

Responsibilities:

· This position is estimated to be greater than 75% interventional radiology with some general diagnostic radiology responsibilities.  

· The IR practice covers a wide spectrum of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures, including interventional oncology, vertebral augmentation, TIPS, ablations, trauma embolization, GIB embolization, venous intervention, central venous access including implanted ports, peripheral vascular disease, biopsies, pain management procedures, diagnosis/treatment of vascular malformations, etc. 

Why is our IR practice unique? ARS is a 100% physician owned and managed practice and fully committed to remaining independent. We are establishing a state wide IR service leveraging our DR (distributed radiology) platform. This allows us to interact with colleagues and provide expertise in all locations. We are working on establishing an outpatient clinic in Lansing and committed to growing the service. Additionally we have the support of two full time Advanced Practice Providers rounding and performing minor procedures. We have quarterly peer review meetings to support physicians and promote continued learning. We will soon have a radiology residency program in Lansing which will allow our physicians opportunity for teaching and research if desired. 

Compensation/Benefits: We offer a competitive salary/bonus and opportunities for additional shifts to increase compensation. Our physicians pay nothing for medical/dental/vision coverage. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan. We are continually striving to improve the work/life balance for our physicians.

• Completion of interventional radiology fellowship or equivalent experience
