Interventional Radiological Technologist assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol. Being an Interventional Radiological Technologist observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Typically requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Interventional Radiological Technologist typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Interventional Radiological Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Essential Functions
•Monitors and records vitals.
•Performs venipunctures and processes lab results.
•Performs patient care and support activities under supervision of licensed personnel.
•Provides safe practices for patients in all aspects of patient care activities.
•Performs radiographic exams using proper technique as ordered by Provider.
•Assists in department administrative activities as assigned.
•Remain flexible for cross training
•Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
•Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
•Other duties as needed to help drive to our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values
Hourly: $20.00 & up (D.O.E.)
12 hour shifts
