The Greenwich Radiological Group is currently seeking a fulltime, experienced Practice Administrator for
our Greenwich office. The Practice Administrator will oversee the daily operations and be responsible
for accounting and bookkeeping for the group, which includes 10 physicians and 9 staff. We are seeking
a personable, efficient, and effective leader with excellent communication skills to manage our team.
The Greenwich Radiological Group (GRG), located in Greenwich, CT, is a radiology practice comprised of
highly credentialed sub-specialized Radiologists. GRG delivers radiological services in Greenwich at our
private office and provides professional services at Greenwich Hospital. Each of our ten radiologists is
board certified and fellowship-trained at the most prestigious universities and medical centers in the
country.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstration of strong leadership skills, including communication, listening,
customer/patient service skills, delegation, time management, and public relations skills.
- Maximize office productivity of the front desk, clinical and billing departments.
- Oversee employee performance metrics to assure optional practice efficiency.
- Manage daily staffing schedule to fit the needs of the practice.
- Direct all hiring, onboarding, and payroll functions.
- Manages accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
- Assisting with business planning and the improvement of administrative processes
- Implementation and periodic reevaluation of organization policies and procedures.
- Monitor and approve staff hours.
- Develop budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Monitor patient care practices and billing processes for compliance regulations and to
ensure an optimal patient experience.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for the staff.
- Serve as liaison for referring physicians, legal, bank, accountant, insurance brokers, insurance
companies.
- Provide various management reports to practice president and partners.
- Manage vendor contracts and relaLonships.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, problem solving and decision-making abilties.
- BA in business or health care management OR a minimum of three years proven
experience in healthcare management.
- Strong background in accounting (knowlege of Quickbooks and ADP plus).
- Proficiency with EMR systems and pratice management software applications.
- Excellent wrtten and verbal communiction skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations and medical office procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
