Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Sr. Applications Developer (Service Now)

    Job Description:
    This position will require the ServiceNow Application Developer to collaboratively work within a team of ServiceNow developers to design, develop and implement enterprise wide solutions which create significant business value for the company. Consults with key stakeholders to develop requirements for enterprise solutions. Develops sound innovative solutions which enable process optimization and automation and create business value.


    Required Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • At least 4 years work experience in the development and implementation phases of a ServiceNow Core application.
    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience with ServiceNow app development
    • Familiarity with Scrum, SaFe and Agile methodologies.
    • Able to transform business requirements into standardized processes while following ServiceNow’s Best Practices.
    • Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards
    • Experience with web technologies that ServiceNow uses.
    • At least an ITILv3 Foundations Certification and a thorough understanding of ITIL
    • processes
    • Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with customers about these topics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in ServiceNow scripting and APIs.
    • 4 Years with ServiceNow 5 Years with Web Application Development
    • Bachelor's Degree - this is a hard requirement


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in developing solutions within the Service Portal and applying User Interface concepts.
    • Fundamental knowledge of networking/network protocols
    • Experience working in FedRamp environments and associated security features ServiceNow Certification of Implementation Specialist
    • A Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 4-6 years work experience in the development and implementation phases of a ServiceNow Core application.
