Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.     BAE Systems, Inc. Air and Space Force Solutions, located at Hill AFB, UT, is looking to hire a Security Professional in support of the Sentinel programs. In this exciting role, the Sr. Security Specialist will work closely with a BAE Security Manager to assist in the daily security operations of the Government Security Programs in support of ISC.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Safeguarding classified material activities, such as, access control, identification of classified material, assigning Document Control Numbers (DCNs) and proper handling of classified material
    • Document marking IAW classified marking guides, briefing employees on security guidelines as well as, investigating and reporting security incidents
    • Ensuring compliance with government and company security standards, procedures, and directives


    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Experience working in a classified environment and with classified material
    • Familiarity with operating security databases, such as DISS
    • Ability to understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
    • Familiarization with DoD guidance, NISPOM, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), DD254s, and additional access caveats, such as SAP, CNWDI, RD, FRD, and NATO
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc


    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • SAP, physical, personnel, information, and industrial security experience
    • Experience working with classified systems, such as, JWICS, CV2, SIPR, etc
    • Familiarity with NISS, SIMS, CCURE, JADE, etc
    • SPeD certifications and/or other nationally recognized security related certifications will be considered in lieu of education


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
