Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Supports the Web Services Manager and the Communications team to maintain and improve the content of STA’s web properties, digital signage and the customer notification platform. Coordination of efforts between employees from other departments and contracted vendors is key to successfully fulfilling the duties of the position. Position reports to the Web Services Manager and collaborates with multiple positions across multiple departments.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business, public administration, or communications discipline and at least 1 year experience developing digital web content in a results-oriented and fast-paced environment. Experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
Physical Requirements
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting; stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; operate office equipment including extensive use of a computer keyboard; push, pull, lift, and/or carry light amounts of weight. Vision sufficient to see in the normal visual range with or without correction; to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment. Hearing capabilities in the normal audio range with or without correction. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to perform repetitive motions of wrist, hands and/or fingers.
Computer Skills
Experience within the Microsoft environment, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and Web CMS systems, preferably WordPress and Elementor. Ability to learn new software programs with minimal formal training.
