JOB SUMMARY
Under direction of the Associate Director of DevOps, work within an agile team to develop complex Web Application software for an enterprise wide deployment at 10 UC campuses and 5 medical centers, support multiple departments within Risk Management at UCOP, participate in designing, coding and documenting specifications of applications, and deliver robust solutions to meet the needs of the University of California. Also, champion test-driven development at all levels of testing including Unit, Integration and End to End testing and work closely with senior developers to gain knowledge and experience. Research and learn department technologies along with new technologies and processes that benefit the development of your applications. Collaborate with the application development team through all phases of the software development cycle, and complete tasks for the development project with guidance from team members, department leadership and stakeholders to produce quality software.
