This position will be in the office at our headquarters, located in Flower Mound, TX.

About the Job:*
As an Inventory Analyst with Blue Science, you are part of a team that works to provide daily inventory operations with an aim to increased operational efficiency. Working closely with our field operations team to ensure they have the supplies and materials to meet our customers’ needs.

Position Responsibilities:*

• Utilize ERP systems to analyze and optimize purchasing settings.
• Monitor and assess inventory levels to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Reporting to management and advising on process improvements.
• Leverage strong Excel skills to create reports and dashboards for inventory performance.
• Provide regular updates and insights to management regarding inventory trends and recommendations.
• Work closely with various business units to understand their unique inventory needs.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration to implement inventory management strategies.
• Investigate inventory variances and report on main drivers and proposals for resolution.
• Recommends and implements improvements to process to prevent inventory inaccuracies.
• Performs root cause analysis investigations and adjustments to identified inventory discrepancies and / or required adjustments to inventory levels based on receipt, shipping, adjustment, bill of material accuracy or transfer activities assists in development, documentation, and training of inventory control procedures.
• Assist with vendor records and account reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audit by providing requested documentation.
• Coordinates the storage and movement of materials within or between warehouses.
• Receives and resolves incoming requests involving transaction discrepancies reported by Operations, Customer Service, or Accounting

Schedule:*
Monday - Friday: 40 to 45 hours per week, depending on season.
Business needs may dictate additional hours as needed.

Basic Qualifications:*

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Preferred Qualifications:*

• Previous experience with Odoo ERP
• Experience with Just in Time (JIT) inventory
• Knowledge of pool chemicals and parts preferred, but not required.

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, DOE

Experience:

• 2-year minimum inventory experience highly preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

License:

• Driver's License (Required)
