Position Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Enters data into inventory database about quantities of issued and transferred parts and inventory
• Resolve Inventory shortage discrepancies
• Receive manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs
• Consolidate manufactured parts to maximize shelf space
• Assist in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency
• Identify parts through the use of SAP and drawings
• Audit locations for part and count for accuracy (., work order and 3-Stage put away checks)
• Investigate missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
• Monitor and keep an updated shortage list available for the Inventory Management team
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Accurate data entry skills
• Technical orientation
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Team orientation
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis
