Pay : $16 / hr.

PRIMARY FUNCTION : This position is responsible for performing functions to assist in the planning, coordination control and direct activities involving materials inventory, release and requisitioning of production materials.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintains and monitors inventory effectively and efficiently.
• Receive, issue and document raw materials along with transfers of work in process and finished goods,

in QAD.

• Review, reconcile and document work order inventory transactions.
• Prepare and document shipments of materials, products and supplies, and monitor for shortages,

overages, damages, and record discrepancies.

• Maintains effective and efficient organization of materials storage yard.
• Verify and document inventory counts and locations periodically including but not limited to cycle

counts.

• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Support and / or participate in the organization’s Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Proactively participates in the Safety Program.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to operator a forklift.
• Team oriented and the ability to operate with a diverse group

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift trained and experienced, a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems.
