Inventory Control Clerk jobs in Boulder, CO

Purpose:

The Cycle Counter monitors and reconciles the physical inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods. Provides feedback to leadership in order to improve inventory accuracy.

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Document physical counts of both raw and finished materials provide backup of information if appropriate.

Research inventory discrepancies and reconcile all issues in a timely manner to ensure correct inventory levels are accounted for.

Leverage and utilize various systems and reports as needed.

Identity root cause to inventory issues and provide feedback to improve/correct errors made by team members.

Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary through Supervisor.

Conducts cycle count activities on a daily basis and if needed year-end inventory. And process paperwork/transfers for all schedules, accurate and timely.

Data entry to relieve inventory, create address labels, bar code labels, etc.to maintain FIFO inventory process.

Serves as a backup material handler for production by providing necessary supplies.

Load finished goods on designated carrier truck, ensuring accuracy and minimizing damage to product

Safely operate all equipment, trained on and maintain clean, organized warehouse.

Assist in required forklift, and battery checks.

Ability to work overtime as needed during busy season.

Follow all Safety and Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:

Shift Days - Sunday through Thursday

Shift Hours - 3:00pm to 11:15 pm

Shift Differential - $.50 / hour

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified to operate forklift/reach truck
• Must be computer literate and have demonstrated experience effectively leveraging an inventory control system.
• Must be able to work in a safe manor with serious regard for the quality of the materials being handled.
• Must be able to multitask and serve the needs of a variety of department functions.
• Must continually meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others.
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Bi-lingual with fluent Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred.
• Ability to work with the public and employees in a tactful and friendly manner
