    Expectations of achieving world class performance in Manufacturing Reliability as measured in terms of Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Unit Cost, Maintenance Cost as percent of RAV, and spare parts stores value as percent of RAV, requires substantial organizational proficiency in plant maintenance.

    With that in mind, R&A Manufacturing Support has provided this template of skill sets that when combined with SAP as a computerized maintenance management system should assist each plant in their pursuit of becoming a world class reliability team.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Maintain functionality of facility by ensuring organization of parts and materials and adhering to 5S standards
    • Ensure all required systems and documentation are well maintained and updated frequently
    • Prepare a cycle count schedule for the following 12-month period.
    • Coordinate training programs as requested by Maintenance Leader
    • Handle special projects as requested
    • Meet all safety standards and actively participate in safety and housekeeping programs
    • Maintain clean and organized working area throughout entire shift
    • Support the maintenance work management process by ensuring parts are properly picked and kitted and work order status updated with kit location in SAP within 48 hours of receiving pick list and parts, or sooner, if requested by maintenance planner / supervisor
    • Manage kitting area, ensuring kits are up to date and regularly monitored, with indication of extended or capital staging as needed / appropriate
    • Inspect, complete goods receipt in SAP, & organize all incoming Parts / Materials in their proper locations within 24 hours
    • Ensure record retention procedure is implemented and maintained
    • Regular attendance on site and ability to rotate to varying shifts
    • Able to operator forklift and material handling equipment
    • Any other duties as assigned and / or required of the position

    EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

    The employee should have the following :

    Associated Degree or applicable experience preferred.

    Experience :

    SAP Experience, Purchasing, Excel, Word, MS Mail.

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The employee should possess the ability to :

    • Able to do repetitive hand, arm, leg movements for several hours
    • Able to climb on and off of fork truck
    • Ability to stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
    • Able to climb and descend stairs for up to 12 hours continuously
    • Lift and push and pull 50lbs. More than 100 times per day
    • Must be able to squat, bend at the waist and knees freely
    • Exposure to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
    • Bending and twisting
    • Handle, control or feel objects, tools or control
    • Repetitive movements
