Must be able to perform in-depth analysis of inventory to provide both tactical and strategic direction on how to meet the goals of the organization.

Manage inventory levels. Direct material handlers, Interplant shipping, and receiving personnel. Exchange timely information with other Supervisors on interdepartmental product flow and work force needs.

Coach employees to achieve desired output for safety, quality, schedules, and cost. Train employees to enable them to increase their involvement and self-direction.
Responsible for communication with Logistic for needed carriers and resolve freight issues Conduct employee performance appraisals, recommend promotions, transfers, and work assignments.
Supervise departmental safety and housekeeping practices and maintain a constant alert for hazardous conditions : Investigating accident causes and recommending means to prevent accident reoccurrence.
Review and Disposition Quarterly Excess and Obsolete Inventory and report back to accounting Coordinate and Execute Yearly Physical Inventory and Reconciliation Oversee the Returns Management system in Welcome.
Keep employees informed of the company rules and regulations, and production and quality expectations. Issue warnings and other approval disciplinary measures when necessary.
Manage the Cycle Count Program in Welcome. Execute inventory transactions related to special requests. Transact NCMR scrap weekly Manage the Phase In / Phase Out of material and Implement ECNs Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Requirements 1 plus year experience as a supervisor. Undergraduate degree or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. JDE System Knowledge Training in management, planning, manufacturing, safety, quality, etc. a plus.
