Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inventory Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You Will Be Doing:

    The Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for managing the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision. 

    Essential Job Functions 

    • Strategically manage warehouses in compliance with company’s policies and vision 
    • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. 
    • Optimize the warehousing activities across the state – multiple points of operations. 
    • Ensure Inventory management – Inventory control (in & out), Safe stocking of materials with clear traceability,  
    • Regular Cycle counts, ensuring zero discrepancy between Physical and Book inventory 
    • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization. 
    • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. 
    • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements. 
    • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security 
    • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system. 
    • Prepare annual budget. 
    • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies for movement of goods from point to point 
    • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. 
    • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees. 
    • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.) 
    • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. 

     
    Required Qualifications 

    • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager 
    • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices 
    • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. 
    • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
    • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases 
    • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff. 
    • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. 
    • Excellent communication skills 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Construction Industry knowledge 
    • Knowledge of both English and Spanish
