    What You'll Do

    The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing Core inventory for Peak, ensuring that quality and quantity of products meets the Company’s standards, with a focus on inventory controls supporting day-to-day operations. This position requires flexible hours as needed. Will partner with internal managers and departments to ensure that inventory is available for short- and long-term fulfillment needs. 

    The Inventory Control Specialist will develop a thorough understanding of Core inventory at all Peak facilities, and work with members of the management team to maintain an accurate inventory and meet client needs. This position is responsible for inputting, updating, and managing daily transfers of equipment between facilities and overseeing transfer process. This position reports directly to the Director of Inventory and Planning. 


    The Day-to-Day

    · Drafts, updates, manages, and oversees equipment transfers between company facilities.

    · Develops and maintains strong understanding of all processes related to inventory transfers.

    · Monitors, assesses, and implements solutions to overbookings for inventory, collaborating with Sales, Fabrication,                                                   Transportation, and Inventory teams as needed.

    · Monitors and regularly removes broken or damaged equipment from inventory.

    · Monitors reporting on equipment returned to non-origin facilities and adjusts as needed.

    · Maintains inventory stock levels, identifying items requiring re-order as needed to balance regular asset loss.

    · Develops and implements inventory control processes and improvements to optimize accuracy, and operational and administrative efficiency.

    · Supports Asset Reconciliation team to resolve issues or questions regarding missing inbound/outbound product as needed, via spot audit or other means.

    · Provides ad-hoc inventory reports to management as needed.

    · Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

    · Assists with creation and maintenance of item SKUs and product catalog.

    · Supports periodical full physical inventory audits.

    · Attends meetings as needed.

    · Travels to various locations as needed.

    · Performs other related duties as requested.

    Requirements

      

    What We're Looking For

    · Ability to collaborate effectively with all Inventory, Sales, and Operations team members.

    · Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

    · Performance reporting skills

    · Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    · Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    · Strong interpersonal skills

    · Effective communication skills

    · Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

    · Commitment to work hours the role  requires to accomplish all responsibilities, particularly during seasonally peak times of the    year 

    · Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

    · Strong proficiency with technology

    · Experience with computerized inventory systems is required.

    · Experience with ERP systems is preferred but not required.
