Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. The primary responsibility of an Inventory Control Specialist is to keep the warehouse clean and organized while assisting with various warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory counts, pulling and filling orders, and delivering equipment to our Installation Professionals and/or customers.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on computers all throughout the day, has an attention to detail and ability to effectively establish priorities and manage their time.
