Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Summary
Task will consist of unloading and placement of raw materials in dedicated areas of a laydown yard and moving material in and out of production areas as needed using mobile equipment such as forklifts, utility vehicles and pick-up trucks. Some ability to operate computers and scanning devices is also a requirement with training provided for each task. This is a 1st shift position Monday thru Friday 8 hours a day starting at 7:00 A.M. wages are negotiable based on over-all work experience.
