Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inventory Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Here is what you can expect:

    • You will be on your feet most of the shift as a material handler, using computers, scan guns, forklifts and other types of motorized equipment
    • Picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly and general labor – ensuring the perfect quantity and material

    What you need to apply:

    • High School degree or equivalent
    • 1-year warehouse operations experience preferred
    • Basic computer skills preferred
    • Stable work history
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
    • Able to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day
    • Willingness to learn to operate typical warehouse machinery such as order pickers, forklifts, etc.
    • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
