This crucial role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and monitoring, including cycle counting, reporting, and investigating root causes for inventory inaccuracies system wide.     Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Complete Bin Setup and Labeling: Initiate a comprehensive inventory control program by setting up bins, labeling them appropriately, and ensuring system functionality.
    • Lifecycle Understanding: Gain insights into the entire inventory lifecycle, identifying critical steps for improving accuracy and minimizing waste.
    • Implementation of Inventory Tracking System: Implement and maintain a robust system for understanding inventory usage, movement, and tracking, facilitating effective troubleshooting of inventory issues and root cause analysis.
    • Utilization of ERP and MRP Software: Learn and leverage ERP and MRP software for Root Cause Analysis and inventory management.
    • Cycle Counting Setup: Establish cycle counting criteria for all raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, scheduling inventory checks based on usage frequency and volume.
    • Review and Action on Cycle-Counting Reports: Review cycle-counting reports, confirm variances, and take necessary actions to address discrepancies.
    • Feedback and Guidance: Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the cycle counting team and offer guidance for improving deficiencies.
    • Inventory Disposal Reporting: Monthly reporting of inventory disposals, demonstrating decreases through program effectiveness and development efforts.
    • System Maintenance: Ensure the system accurately reflects all inventory quantities, addressing issues such as residuals causing unnecessary discussions and time.
    • Support Rollout and Upgrades: Assist in the rollout and upgrades of inventory management systems, coordinating communication with the Process Improvement Team.
    • Monitoring and Error Correction: Monitor and correct errors in inventory management systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Daily Operational Support: Address daily batch errors, perform sequel usage on MSDgen pushes, and generate reports using Crystal Reports as needed.
    • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned by the Business Operations Manager to support operational objectives.

    Education: College degree preferred, with a concentration in business or related field.

    Experience:

    • One (1 ) year of plant experience preferred
    • Forklift driving experience recommended
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    Skills:

    • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
