Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inventory Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do

    * Play a vital role in maintaining an accurate record of inventory in an automated facility and assist in preventing, researching, and resolving inventory discrepancies as well as analyzing data trends to identify areas for improvement and make corrective action suggestions.
    * Conduct regular inventory counts (i.e., cycle counts and full physical inventories). Record count results and discrepancies. Communicate count results to Management and/or the Customer as needed.
    * Research and resolve inventory discrepancies across 3 Warehouse Management Systems in an automated facility including, but not limited to researching customer claims, cycle count for missing product, adjust inventory quantities, print labels, handle damaged inventory, disposing of inventory.
    * Update inventory and inventory discrepancies in the Warehouse Management System including processing adjustments.

    What Experience You Need

    * High school diploma or GED required.
    * 1-3 years of inventory control and warehouse experience or equivalent training and experience required.
    * Preferred experience with multiple WMS systems and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
    * Ability to act autonomously as needed.

    Physical Requirements & Abilities:

    * Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions.
    * Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending.
    * Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work.
    * Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks.
    * May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
    * Facility operations temperatures between 38 degrees and -20 degrees.
    * May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
    * Requires the use of various electronic tools.
    * Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes.
    * Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
