Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inventory Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     WIS Inventory Associate – Mornings– Job Preview


    This WIS team works with a select group of specialty retailers and provides focused inventory solutions for their unique business in the discount retail space. As the face of our organization, we depend on you to uphold our Core Values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation and Teamwork in a positive, safe and inclusive environment. You will scan the barcodes with our proprietary handheld devices, for the current inventory at Customer locations to provide them with proper inventory information that will assist them in making better business decisions and better supporting their customers!     Team Requirements


    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • We encourage applications from candidates who:
      • Have no experience or returning to the workforce
      • Have military experience
      • Do not have a high school or college degree
    • We are also looking for associates with experience in Retail, Stock, Customer Service, Cashiers, Sales Representatives, Picker, Packer, Driver and/or Warehouse work. Make your experience count!
    • Access to reliable transportation

    Working Conditions


    This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; the ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays.
