Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives.     Cashman Dredging and Marine Contracting Company, LLC (Cashman) is a leading provider of Dredging Services in the United States. Our Company performs capital and maintenance dredging, environmental remediation dredging, and beach nourishment work in the United States, the Caribbean, and South America.

    We are currently seeking a motivated, self-starter to manage our Manager Plus equipment maintenance inventory system. In this role, you will be required to input, access, and maintain inventory records for various construction equipment and parts, including mobile crawler, barge-mounted cranes, conveyors, pay loaders, excavators, and other earth moving equipment. Responsibilities also include dispersing work orders and inputting completed work orders and notes into the system.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual seeking a Part-Time, 30-hour-per-week, flexible work schedule with a strong potential for growth! Experience in Manager Plus is preferred, but not required, and we are willing to train the right candidate.

    Location:

    The primary work location is in Ledyard, CT with the potential for hybrid and/or remote work after the initial training phase, which will be conducted in our onsite project office.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure work orders are submitted in a timely manner to dredge engineers when standard maintenance hourly or calendar events arise.
    • Input and access inventory data through a computerized maintenance management information system.
    • Utilize computers to troubleshoot records for inventory control.
    • Work with the Purchasing Department to ensure inventory is utilized from the warehouse or dredge prior to the approval of newly-requisitioned parts.
    • Enter and maintain oil analysis reports.
    • Maintain the Preventive Maintenance software through correspondence with Manager Plus (Eptura) product team.
    • Maintain American Bureau of Shipping and United States Coast Guard documentation.
    • Perform administrative functions such as typing, filing, and maintaining detailed records.
    • Book flights, hotels, and rental cars for Maintenance staff when needed.

    Preferred Candidate will have:

    • 2 plus years of Excel experience is preferred
    • Proficient Data Entry skills
    • Possess a high attention level to detail
    • Ability to work on-site as needed
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Fluent use of the English language (read, speak, and write)
    • Valid Driver s License
    • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Salary: $25.00 per hour
