    Summary
    The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, stocking, and distribution of medical supply inventory for CORA, CMI and COMRI in the CORA main building. This position also may assist in the day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping duties of CORA’s multiple buildings throughout the Bend and Redmond area. The Inventory Control clerk will work under the direct supervision of the Purchasing and Facilities Manager.
    Essential Duties

    This position requires a high level of attention to detail. In addition, this position requires regular, reliable attendance. Other duties may be assigned.

    Management of Inventory Control System

    • Daily distribution of medical supplies as requested.
    • Daily count of modality specific inventory.
    • Maintain inventory counts in the McKesson Orbits application.
    • Check in supplies as they arrive and scan for accurate inventory count.
    • Assist with preparation of medical supplies required for patient exams.
    • Monthly inventory counts/reconciliation.
    • Management of product barcodes.
    • Keeping users list current and up to date.
    • Support all facilities with inventory management.
    Receiving
    • Signing for all freight.
    • Sorting packages for delivery throughout facility.
    • Checking in all Med Lab supplies and replenishing/rotating stock.

    Special Projects

    • As assigned.

    Facilities

    • Provide back up to Housekeeping.
    • Cleaning of facility as needed. Sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down of bathrooms, replacing light bulbs, and restocking of paper supplies as required.
    Education and Experience
    High School diploma or GED equivalent. Computer knowledge sufficient to access and maintain appropriate applications for inventory control. Knowledge of housekeeping functions and standards including safety and sanitation, knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and equipment. Ability to work independently, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

    • Must be able to remain in a sitting or standing position for up to 95% of a workday.
    • Sit-to-stand desks are available to all employees if the workstation has space to accommodate.

    • Constantly operates tools, cleaning apparatus and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.

    • Frequently communicate with co-workers, physicians and management who have questions about repairs needed and/or services provided.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

    Move, Transport

    • Occasionally moves paper/boxes of varying weight normally up to 10 pounds.
    • Often moves large, heavy, or bulky items of varying weight up to 50 lbs.

    • Must be able to see to assess repairs, documents, and written communications.
