Position Summary The Warehouse Inventory Control Supervisor

• leads a team in researching & maintaining warehouse inventory cycle counts;
• prepares physical inventory and control activities;
• maintains weight, measures and UCC integrity of all products.
• This role also supports inventory rotation, provides back up to the pick/pack and ship process, and completes other duties as assigned.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Oversee the Inventory Control process ensuring maximum efficiencies and outcomes
• Delegate work assignments to IC team, and work with other leads/supervisors to meet scheduled completion times
• Participate in cross departmental projects to implement a new ERP system and develop a yearly cycle count process
• Hold team accountable
• Advise on, and operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor temporary workers placed within the department
• Maintain safe work environment, reporting potential hazards
• Oversee physical item/unit of measure data integrity
• Conduct cycle counting
• Coordinate between Repack and Receiving Departments
• Maintains bin integrity and correct slotting of product
• Serves as an integral part of the physical count process
• Coordinate product put away

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of related experience (DC, 3PL, or similar warehousing)
• 2-3 years of demonstrated leadership in a high SKU distribution environment (prefer Inventory leadership
• Positive interpersonal skills to delegate, lead and inspire quality outcomes
• Forklift certification with demonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
• Manual dexterity & ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Basic math and critical thinking skills
• Related Associates degree (any ok, but prefer business, logistics, or SCM)
