We are looking for an Inventory Control Manager to drive change for scalabilty by improving accuracy, systems, processes and more as we continue making a difference in people’s health and vitality.
The position reports to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
· Successfully improve service levels; by optimizing Inventory levels, improving cycle times, and count accuracy, to improve both efficiency and effectiveness
· Achieve a same-week completion time for quarterly physical inventory and monthly book inventory
· Implement a policy of cycle counting
· Migrate current excel based inventory system to a WMS/ERP system.
· Reassign the roles and responsibilities of the warehouse associates reporting to you to optimize their time and warehouse productivity
· Reduce errors, shrinkage, and loss to < 2%
· Build protocols and SOPs with outside vendors to streamline B2B shipments
· Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution and storage of all freight, product and supplies that come in and out of warehouse
· Create and drive a development plan strategy for the Fulfillment and Warehouse facility that successfully allows the facility to meet its monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals and initiatives
· Maintain daily warehouse records in the shared drive
· Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories
· Lead, manage & motivate the inventory control team to deliver quality results
· Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
· Recommend operational policies and goals to company’s management
· Must follow all safety rules and established procedures and ensure direct reports are also following set safety rules and procedures
· Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Requirements
· 3 of years of inventory management experience
· Experience using WMS and ERP systems
· Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting
· Excellent organizational and planning skills
· Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills
· Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access, and Word
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions
Educational Requirements
· Associate’s degree preferred
