Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     FT – 40 Hours Day Shift Mon-Fri - 7am to 3:30p or 8am to 4:30pm

    Can be flexible -However, possibly will come in on weekends.

    Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent years of experience and education - 2-Years experience preferred.

    Qualified candidates: This role is a vital part of the team, and we are looking for someone to take great pride in giving great service to our patients.  Looking for data management skills, reporting capabilities, excellent communication skills, analytical, Excel. ERP system experience (doe does not have to be SAP but preferred)

    Other Duties/Tasks: Product conversions, backorder investigation/management, backorder communication to CD staff, physical inventory & cycle count lead administration, on hand investigation/corrections, data master MRP updates, assist with proposals, floor stock request review, expired product management, product processing returns, unit par level/usage review, liaison with receiving workgroup to minimize lost deliveries.

    Job Summary:

    Under supervision and following established policies and procedures, ensures an adequate inventory of assigned products and coordinates with supply base. Also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the values of the SSM Health Care System and principles of CQI

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manages cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure proper inventory control.
    • Manages quantity blocked invoices.
    • Chairs weekly vendor and manufacturer back order management meetings.
    • Provides WiFi bar-code scanner training and maintenance.
    • Provides SAP system training.
    • Coordinates freight transportation.
    • Provides customer service and support to all internal customers.
    • Responds, dispositions and acts upon RASMAS recall alerts and notification.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or equivalent
