    Aeriz is searching for a full-time Inventory Supervisor - for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. 

    Position Overview: 
    As an Inventory Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing inventory control processes within our facility. Your responsibilities will include supervising stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You’ll collaborate with various teams to maintain accurate records, minimize stock discrepancies, and enhance overall inventory. 


    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities: 
    Monitor cannabis packaging hardware, raw material, and finish goods inventory. 

    Lead and supervise a team of inventory technicians, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and consistent inventory operations. 

    Utilize ERP system to manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and generate accurate reports.  

    Ensure data integrity within the ERP system by conducting regular audits and reconciliation.  

    Create schedules for inventory activities. Coordinate inventory tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.  

    Train new technicians on proper techniques and safety procedures. Provide ongoing training, coaching and skill development. 

    Develop and maintain comprehensive BOM for all products, including accurate listings of components, quantities, and associated cost.  

    Coordinate with production teams to update BOMs as needed based on changes in production design or materials. 

    Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure that packaging hardware meets company standards and regulatory requirements. 

    Stay informed about all relevant cannabis regulations pertaining to packaging hardware to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. 

    Develop and implement SOPs for inventory processes, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping. 

    Train staff on SOPs to ensure compliance and consistency in inventory handiling procedures.  

    Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for inventory technicians and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. 

    Continuously evaluate and improve inventory techniques and processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Monitor daily QC and adjust quality of hardware as needed. 

    Establish relevant KPI for inventory, such as inventory turnover, stock-out rates, and fill rates.  

    Monitor KPIs regularly and implement strategies to improve performance and optimize inventory levels.  

    Maintain accurate records of inventory activities, including production volumes, inventory levels, trends, quality control measures and discrepancies. 

    Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Follow sanitation protocols to prevent contamination.


    Qualifications

    Qualifications:  
    Associate degree in business administration, or equivalent required. Additional education or training in cannabis cultivation, processing, or related fields preferred.  

    3 of experience in inventory, preferably in the cannabis industry, cultivation, processing, or manufacturing.   

    Proven experience in inventory, with expertise in managing inventory with an ERP system. 

    Familiarity with cannabis compliance requirements, including METRC or similar seed-to-sell tracking systems. 

    Proficient in Microsoft office suite and cannabis specific software for tracking inventory, processing data, and compliance.  

    Strong leadership with the ability to efficiently supervise and motivate a team.  

    Strong understanding of BOM practices. 

    Genuine passion for the cannabis industry, including a commitment to quality, sustainability, and responsible packaging sourcing.  

    Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products consistently.   

    Experience developing and monitoring KPI related to inventory.  

    Proficiency in establishing and enforcing SOPs for inventory control processes.  

    Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.  

    Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, vendors, and regulatory agencies. 

    Available to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch, and lift up to 30 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.

    Work Environment:
    This position can involve a fair amount of manual labor when needed, which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Production Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
