Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in Pensacola, FL

Job Description:

• Supervise a crew of 10-15 technicians to manufacture analyzer and instrumentation systems.
• Work hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing specifications, project drawings, and fabrication instructions. Red lining drawings and communicating changes to management.
• Interpreting instrument layout / location drawings, equipment layouts, termination details, and block diagrams.
• Creating material take-offs and issuing purchase requisitions.
• Understanding analyzer system configuration and installation, sample conditioning system (SCS), and process tubing.
• Installing and testing analyzer system(s), to include tubing, regulators, gauges, filters, etc.
• Tracking and reporting scope changes
• Ensuring projects meet the operability needs of the customer.
• Collaborating internally with instrument designers, project managers, technicians, and quality assurance; externally with customers.
• Planning workloads and daily employee schedules. Approving employee time.
• Developing project teams for efficient completion of jobs, including hiring and terminating employees as required.
• Conducting employee evaluations.
• Following established training programs and develop more as needed.
• Executing projects within budget and on schedule.
• Ensuring adherence to company safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the instrumentation field.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Must be able to interpret drawings (layout, piping and instrumentation diagrams, etc.)
• Familiar with Instrument specification sheets
• Must be familiar with the use of test equipment: VOM, Loop Simulator, pressure testers, and other instrumentation for testing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel are heavily used in this position) and Procore
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to make quick, educated decisions on unanticipated issues

Salary: $ 30.00 -$ 38.00 per hour
