Details
The college is pleased to announce an opening for an Inventory Control Coordinator, 40 hours weekly year-round. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 6 : 00 am 2 : 30 pm with Saturday and Sunday off.
Schedules are subject to change and could vary to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the position will work with and oversee the receiving team to safely and efficiently deliver daily bakery products, materials and equipment to Dining Service locations.
responsible for receiving and storage of goods at the dining units will be a primary responsibility and include practices in the proper receipt,temperatures, dating, inspection, acceptance and storage of all food and supply items.
Checking inventory par levels, reporting products out of code, overstocks and other problems to the Executive Chef will be required.
This position also coordinates the maintenance of the dining fleet as well as other tasks as required to achieve full customer satisfaction.
A high degree of organizational skill is necessary to manage and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Meeting tight deadlines, the ability to plan and act quickly to ensure customer satisfaction, and independent decision making are essential.
