Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Connections and collaborations are at the heart of our business, starting with how we work together with our customers and each other. As Inventory Control Specialist, your mission is to bring The Evergreen Market to life for our customers by supporting the vendors and store team with thorough accounting of product and maintaining inventory controls.   


    PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Inventory Control Specialist is a key driver who helps support the Store Manager in initiatives that shape the culture and organization of our stores by ensuring inventory is healthy and properly placed to help drive sales.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Some Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Intakes and manages all shipments from producer/processors to ensure all orders are accurate and entered correctly into our system.
    • Ensures LCB compliance is being upheld.
    • Ensures vendor payments are accurate and on time.
    • Delegates weekly audits to manage inventory on hand, proper SKUs, returns, and the online menu.
    • Drives exceptional results in stores by executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, and providing ongoing feedback to purchasing team.
    • Maintains intake and organization of product manifests, test results, and other documents/information consistently.
    • Embodies a culture of engagement by routinely listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers.
    • Maintains a safe, clean and secure environment to ensure the security of all employees, customers, and products in the store.
    • Performs other tasks and duties ad assigned.


    Skills and Experience:

    • 3 years retail sales experience 
    • 1 years inventory management experience required. 
    • Comfortable working in a physical environment 
    • Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision. 
    • Demonstrates success in problem solving and delivering results 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail business systems (POS).  
    • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; Which could include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. (as well as possible travel to other locations)
    • Physical requirements include the ability to (with or without accommodation): 
    • Lift, carry, push, and or pull up to 50 lbs. 
    • Twist, bend, squat, reach, and climb a ladder. 
    • Stand for extended periods of time. 
    • Willing to participate in our random (illegal) drug testing program
    • All offers of employment are contingent pending a background check.
    • Retail cannabis experience is preferred.
    • Must be 21 years of age.
