Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Description:
Position Summary: Position is responsible for ensuring equipment integrity and timely repair. Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a focus on decreasing bakery downtime. Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Keep good records of all work assignments and communicate across all groups/departments. Able to identify required parts, current inventories, and to list parts required for reorder. Must have strong organizational skills and planning skills to help maintain proper part inventory for location. Must abide by all company policies including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Personal Safety Standards and Food Safety Standards. Duties will also include maintenance of building and support equipment.
