May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping records
Put together data from purchase order, invoices, requisitions, and accounting periods
Determine stock supply and need for replenishment
Look into damages, inventory adjustment and shrink issues
Find product to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories
Look at stock numbers, pallet IDs' authorized substitutes, and other information with catalogs, manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of shipping order
Graveyard , 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
Monday - Friday
Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move product
Forklift experience a must
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 40 lbs. regularly
Able to work in a freezer with company provided equipment and freezer gear
Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
Good communication skills
Able to move items around warehouse
Warehouse experience preferred
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US.
