Investment Analyst jobs in Brockton, MA

SUMMARY

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining and recording investment financial transactions and related reporting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work with investments team to maintain investment partnership books and records.
2. Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining cash account balances.
3. Assist with periodic investment reporting over the investment portfolio.
4. Act on corporate actions and understand implications to the various levels of reporting.
5. Examine current procedures for internal control related matters.
6. Ensure timely and proper Investment Office transaction documentation.
7. Assist in workflow improvements for external and internal stakeholders. Automate, document, and find best practices on existing processes.
8. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of investments
• Advanced excel proficiency.
• Experience using investment partnership software preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently utilizing technical skills, shows initiative and professional judgment consistently to include confidentiality and discretion.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and analytical thinking skills required.
• Works well collaboratively in a team environment.
