    Capital Investment Partners is on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary Architect to join our team in a full-time capacity. We offer an exhilarating opportunity for those eager to be a part of a rapidly expanding, high-energy firm. Specializing in the development of luxury cabins, our portfolio also boasts a diverse range of projects including apartment complexes, restaurants, and attractions. From land acquisition, infrastructure development, and cabin design, we do it all in house. That is where you come in. We are seeking a highly talented and creative architect to join our team. You will be the sole talent working independently on each blueprint that is critical to our business. While you will be the only architect on staff, allowing your creative freedom to run wild, we are looking for a team player who will collaborate with the whole team to bring a collective vision to life.

    Benefits & Compensation

    This is an in-person position at our office in Pigeon Forge, TN. We are offering a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include options for health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, along with short and long-term disability insurance, to ensure your peace of mind in any circumstance. Also have a 401k match up to 4%.

    This will be a base salary plus an uncapped commission of 33% of the profit from any job that is brought in from an outside client.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work fully autonomously.
    • Design and construction document development experience
    • Familiarity with the construction administration process (RFI’s, submittals, and punch lists)
    • Work with clients and team members throughout the project – from schematic design to construction administration
    • Proficient in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
    • Passion for design excellence and client satisfaction
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to facilitate close work with clients, consultants, contractors and internal departments in achieving deadlines and quality work
    • Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
    • Ability to apply logical steps to problem solving
    • Ability to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts

    •Knowledge of building materials, specifications and construction techniques

    •Knowledge of building codes, life safety and accessibility requirements

    •Knowledge of engineering disciplines sufficient to evaluate and coordinate work

    Responsibilities

    •Develop design concepts, sketches, and plans that align with the project's goals, functionality, and aesthetics

    •Prepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications

    •Ensure that designs meet local building codes and regulations

    •Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate structural, electrical, and mechanical systems into the architectural plans

    •Evaluate potential building sites, considering factors such as location, topography, and environmental impact

    •Make informed decisions about site selection and design based on these assessments

    •Oversee all phases of the project, from initial concept to construction completion

    •Coordinate with contractors, builders, and subcontractors to ensure that the project is executed according to design specifications

    •Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that the construction work aligns with the design and adheres to established standards

    •Work in collaboration with interior designers, landscape architects, and other professionals to create holistic design solutions for buildings and spaces

    •Carries out the overall architectural design of the project and assures that construction documents accurately reflect the contract scope and design intent

    •Participates in various design-related duties in all phases of the project life-cycle including pre-design and complete through construction administration

    •During the design phases, keeps the Project Manager fully apprised of the design development as well as decisions which may affect the design schedule, budget, or project goals

    •Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies

    •Is available for communication with the Client and General Contractor when needed
