As our chosen Maintenance Supervisor, everyday you will manage and coordinate persons, activities and available resources to accomplish property objectives. You will also coordinate and perform property maintenance/repairs as needed or requested by residents and/or property management staff. Property maintenance/repair duties may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc. Exterior maintenance may include grounds care including snow removal, trash pick-up, etc. Perform duties to turn apartment; ensure that move-in standards are met and coordinate and perform preventive maintenance. Furthermore, maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory by selecting and ordering supplies and monitoring maintenance supply budget. To thrive in this role:
1-2 years prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor on a multi-family apartment community
Familiar with and used a Make Ready Board previously
Experience with plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel and Word- PLUS
Employees must provide own hand tools and be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
Superior customer service skills
Dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a faced paced team-oriented environment.
Ability to respond to on-call emergencies, carry property issued cell-phone
