Reviews investment strategy, seeks out new opportunities, and recommends changes in investments to manage risk and generate acceptable rate of return. Being an Investment Manager measures and evaluates return on investment and trends that may impact the portfolio. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Investment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Investment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a member of the Strategic Communications team reporting to the Senior Director, Public Affairs, this position will manage ICI’s several website properties to ensure content is user-friendly, accurate and up-to-date, and engaging for the association’s target audiences.

     

    Essential functions of this role include:

    • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of content on all ICI websites, ensuring that best practices are utilized to facilitate functionality and accuracy of web content. 
    • Manage all content updates, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate.
    • Oversee content tagging system to ensure all content is appropriately organized and easy to access for target audiences.
    • Coordinate with internal and external development teams to address issues or bugs with the website.
    • Implement and utilize best practices for analytics collection to track relevant metrics, provide regular reports, and provide recommendations to address key findings.
    • Continually evaluate technology, ensuring best-in-class platforms are utilized appropriately.
    • Build and execute an SEO strategy to improve traffic to the website.
    • Develop a web-based style guide to ensure consistency across all ICI pages.
    • Support the development of a strategy for the ICI blog and other online communications materials.
    • Partner with senior leadership to maintain and adhere to budget goals and oversee outside partners.
    • Proactively identify website updates or improvements.
    • Remain current on best practices and trends in web design and development; proactively identify professional development opportunities. 


    If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with at least four (4) years of relevant experience. 
    • Ability to manage multiple vendors and/or internal teams on specific projects. 
    • Proven ability to translate technical concepts to business leadership, and in translating end-user requirements into technical solutions.   
    • Deep understanding of the development and maintenance of websites.
    • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
    • Highly organized, with attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical abilities, specifically in utilizing metrics to improve outcomes.
    • Ability to implement best practices for SEO.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software.
    • Experience working in Drupal (content management system).
