    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    A Marketing Manager would be responsible for maximizing topline revenue by promoting The Viv and hotel messaging to guests through traditional, digital, and social media marketing. The Marketing Manager will help strategize, coordinate, and execute all advertising, marketing, public relations, social media campaigns and promotional activities for the hotel as well as manage digital and agency relationships.

    HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    Marketing Strategy:

    • Develops overarching marketing strategy, including budgets for hotel and outlets in partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Food and Beverage, and General Manager.
    • Create advertising and promotional programs for hotel and all outlets.
    • Collaborate with sales to provide most up to date marketing strategy and implementation details.
    • Supports Group lead generation efforts through targeted email campaigns, updating Cvent, and Visit Anaheim meeting sites.
    • Runs, reviews, analyzes, and clearly articulates to stakeholders and owners, key marketing reports and able to course correct if data indicates.
    • Develops and manages property email campaigns across Marriott.com, third party sites and paid media.
    • Monitors and provides recommendations for SEO in partnership with Crescent Hotels Corporate Integrated Marketing and Digital team.
    • Liaison with PR agency and in partnership with Director of Sales and Marketing, providing necessary direction.
    • Responsible for brand voice and content pull through for all written and verbal, front and back of house communication, including all digital assets.
    • Build direct marketing plans and targeted campaigns to drive brand awareness for the overall hotel, key market segmentations and outlets.

    Social Media:

    • Drive overarching social media strategy and content creation, for hotel and outlets.
    • Creates and executes monthly Social Media calendar with selected handles along with one-off local and property events ensuring proper cadence.
    • Manages paid social media budget and strategy.
    • Manages creative direction for all hotel and outlets.

    Outlets and Ancillary:

    • Partners with Food and Beverage team identifying opportunities and trends to implement promotional and advertising strategy driving outlet revenue.
    • Defines in-house F&B programming in partnership with F&B Director and manages execution.
    • Manage the property’s hotel and outlet websites and online listings including menus, hours, ensuring optimization for search engine e.g., Yelp, Google, etc.

    • Social media proficiency.
    • Canva/Adobe Suite/Graphic Design/Editing experience preferred.
    • 3-Years of Hotel/Hospitality Marketing Experience.
    • Experience with creative agencies and content creation management preferred.
    • Strong copywriting skills.
    • Marriott systems knowledge is a bonus.

    For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $65,000 - $72,000. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, year of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
